In addition to the resources listed on our site, Operation Health Hearts will be giving out Thanksgiving meal kits for 100 families. They distribute food (and other basic need resources) every Thurs. from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Whittier LGBTQ Center on Painter Ave. The organization has yet to announce when the Thanksgiving giveaway will take place. (They are on social media if you wish to follow them to receive information about the upcoming event).
LA County Parks also is offering a free after school snack and hot supper program for teens. Here is the
